JOE F. SMITH
Joe F. Smith has been Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1990. He has been a member of the Texas Bar since 1974.
He's represented plaintiffs in personal injury claims exclusively, and full time, since 1979. He’s never done anything else, and he doesn't want to.
He received a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University in 1971, a J.D. Degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1974 and an L.L.M. from George Washington University in 1979.
After graduating from law school in 1974, he served in the United States Marine Corp. as a JAG Officer, from 1974 - 1979. Mr. Smith then joined the firm of Foreman, Boudreaux, Smith and Johnson. He became a partner in 1984.
He is admitted to practice in the following courts: All Texas state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th. Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
Professional organizations to which he belongs include the Texas State Bar, American Association for Justice, Texas Trial Lawyers association, Dallas Trial Lawyer’s Association, National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives.
